Copper
At last - my life-long love of copper and
other metals (particularly with aqua & blue) is the new trend.
Just as well that I didn’t wait for that to happen or my interiors, and those of clients, would have been bereft; but so glad that many others now have the chance to appreciate its charm.
After all, if it’s difficult to source an item from manufacturers it tends to remain a trade secret to those in the know.
Metallic finishes have always been a way to introduce a sense of glamorous luxe to interiors.
Gold, silver (in particular) and bronze have all had their time to shine and now Copper is in the limelight.
Of all the precious metals, copper has definitely always been my favourite. Suited to almost any style of interior; Copper adds warmth to a minimalist design contrasting perfectly with cool finishes such as
concrete, stone and marble. If you are into glamour then you can use Copper to pair with other shiny items, like Copper foil.ecious metals, copper has definitely always been my favourite. If you are unsure? Use copper as an accent.
Perhaps a Pendant hung low over the dining table;
a side table in variations of Copper; a fabulous Copper bowl, pitcher or plate etc.
